How often should I vacuum my oriental rugs?
We recommend that you vacuum your oriental rug on a regular basis, taking special care not to vacuum over the fringe. Use a normal setting on your vacuum cleaner, so that you won't put added stress on the rug.

How can I spot-clean my oriental rugs at home?
Aside from taking advantage of our expert oriental rug cleaning services, which should be performed approximately every three to five years under normal conditions, you can spot clean using a sponge with a mild soap. Be sure not to dampen the rug too much and be sure to rinse and thoroughly dry the area you washed.

Should I have padding under my oriental rug?
We suggest that oriental rugs be placed on a non-abrasive type padding to increase the life span and help keep them in place. We offer a full line of rug padding to meet every need from heavy traffic non-skid to specialty padding for oriental rugs placed on top of wall-to-wall carpeting.

How can I increase the longevity of my oriental rugs?
We recommend that you rotate your oriental rugs from one end to the other every twelve to eighteen months. This allows your rugs to wear evenly, and increase the life and beauty of your investment.
